Schools to teach AI to 6+ million students from 2025–26

Saudi authorities have approved a nationwide artificial intelligence curriculum across general education starting in the 2025–26 academic year—part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 push to future-proof skills. The plan includes teacher training, national frameworks, and integrated AI modules for everyday learning. Expect pilot materials to roll out this academic cycle ahead of full implementation.

Why it matters: With AI embedded early, Saudi students could graduate with stronger digital literacy and employability—useful for the Kingdom’s diversification goals.
